Role Mission
This role will be responsible for overseeing the RTW & Shoes category of merchandise planning, assortment to maximize the brand desirability, capturing business ambition, profitability, and retail excellence.
And you will work closely with Central Merch team, Korea cross-functional teams, including Retail, VM, Training and PR/MKT, to optimize the merchandise offering and ensure seamless execution across our retail channels.
Responsibilities
- Generate & analyse weekly, monthly, quarterly reports to provide recaps to Management team on a weekly basis and propose action plans and strategies to maximise selling potentials
- Oversee systemic work related to allocation, replenishment, and merchandise control of the categories, such as price changes, assortment updates, consolidations etc
- Monitor product launch plan and work closely with Retail and PR & Marketing team on priority, exclusivity, events, retail actions etc
- Work closely with Visual Merchandising team on store segmentation, product launch and merchandise display strategy following HQ and Regional guideline
- Review sales, sell through and inventory across both retail normal and outlet by store level and come up with local actions working closely with other departments
- Partner with Retail Training to conduct qualitative, creative, and inspiring seasonal product training
- Conduct market research and stay abreast of trends, customer behaviour, competitor price study and product offer and closely update regional team for product development
- Liaise with regional team regarding sales forecast on carry-over/permanent items on monthly basis and share insight of the gap
- Partner with regional planning / supply chain team to maintain adequate inventory level with timely delivery
Key Requirements
- 8 – 10 years’ experience in retail merchandising in leading Fashion/Luxury brands, with solid expertise in RTW & Shoes
- Excellent product sensibility with strong buying experiences in RTW & Shoes is a MUST
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of retail KPIs
- Team oriented with ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Has sense of initiative, ownership and accountability for the business
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written in English
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
- Proactive and able to think out of the box
