Role Overview
We’re looking for a Merchandising Specialist to source non-food items for our new product launches and marketing campaigns. You’ll be working closely with our Marketing team to source the required materials, search for suppliers, collect samples, and share a competitive analysis for the different sources.
Main Responsibilities
Work with the marketing team on finding suppliers, sourcing samples, and testing new merch materials/printed materials/brochures required for marketing campaigns.
Share the estimated cost of new materials with a competitive analysis of different sources.
Propose alternative solutions for the requested materials based on the team’s needs.
Act as the connection point between the Marketing team and product supply team through finding and qualifying new materials.
Form a basic knowledge of the material qualification process.
Initiate and manage supplier relationships to support marketing projects & initiatives.
Qualifications
Good written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for details and accuracy.
Proficiency in using Microsoft softwares.
Ability to move fast when sourcing new materials and sharing samples with the team.
Flexible, results-oriented, and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to source locally and internationally for specialized products.
Basic knowledge of the procurement process is preferable.
Must have a valid driving license in Bahrain.
