Responsibilities
Product Assortment & Strategy
Develop and maintain an optimized product mix tailored to B2B clients.
Work closely with category managers to ensure competitive pricing and product availability.
Conduct market research to identify trends, demand shifts, and new business opportunities.
Supplier & Vendor Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating pricing and promotions.
Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure on-time product availability.
Monitor supplier performance and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.
Sales & Performance Analysis
Analyze sales trends, customer purchasing behavior, and inventory levels.
Provide data-driven recommendations to improve sales and profitability.
Work with the marketing team to develop B2B-specific promotions and campaigns.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner with the sales team to align merchandising strategies with client needs.
Support the operations team in managing stock levels and replenishment strategies.
Ensure product listings are updated and accurately represented across B2B channels.
Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in merchandising, category management, or procurement, preferably in e-grocery, FMCG, or B2B sales.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets & data visualization tools.
Experience with merchandising tools, ERP systems, or e-commerce platforms.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong understanding of pricing strategies, promotions, and inventory management.
Experience in B2B or wholesale merchandising is a plus.
Familiarity with digital merchandising and online grocery platforms.
