We are pleased to announce the relocation of our corporate headquarters to Greenway Plaza’s Phoenix Tower in Houston’s Upper Kirby neighborhood.

The Model Home Operations Manager oversees the planning, execution, and maintenance of the projects they lead, ensuring they reflect the company’s vision and quality standards. This role involves coordinating with teams, managing budgets and timelines, and creating market-focused inventory and model homes that attract buyers and enhance the Perry Homes brand. The Manager also supervises the Model Home Coordinator and Administrative Assistant, fostering effective collaboration to achieve departmental goals.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Collaborate with the warehouse team to oversee the maintenance of the furniture and accessory warehouses

Manage spec inventory projects

Collaborate with Director and other department Managers in day-to-day operations. Schedule their team’s tasks and project deadlines, communicate job expectations, and monitor and evaluate team performance

Collaborate with Director and lead various projects, innovations, and departmental oversights

Assist Director in preparing preliminary and final budgets for model home designs

Assist Director with reviewing department budgets

Oversee various design projects and review the team’s selections

Set goals for team members and provide coaching and accountability for goals

Train team on all aspects of the model home process

Prepare, coordinate, and complete schedules, records, and paperwork as necessary to carry out job duties

Occasionally handle urgent assignments with tight deadlines and short notice

Perform other tasks as needed to support team goals and department objectives

Requirements

College degree in design-related field or relevant 3-5 years experience required.

Leadership experience required, including managing teams or operations.

Must be willing to travel locally and to other cities in Texas.

Current, valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record

Demonstrated computer skills, including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience in Bluebeam Revu is a plus
