Job Title:
Nail care Technician (NOC 63211) Terms of Employment: 30-40 hours per week, Full-Time/Permanent

Job Duties:
Cleaning nails by removing old nail polish, shaping ends. Apply new polish to fingernails and toenails. Applying acrylic, gel nails, extensions, and nail polish. Evaluate the condition of clients nails and advise on proper nail care and effective nail care treatments. Recommend new designs and nail art to clients. Sanitize all nail instruments and equipment before and after use. Always maintain a clean working environment.
Assisting clients with questions or concerns about nail treatments. SKILLS
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
No formal
education
required, if candidates have already had 6 months on the job training combined with the minimum of 1 year experience, as a Nail Care Technician, manicurist, or pedicurist OR Completion of high school OR Completion of a beauty school program or college program for manicurist and pedicurist
Experience:
Minimum of 1-year experience is required (less experience would be considered for candidates who have completed a beauty school program or college program for manicurist and pedicurist) Language:
