POSITION SUMMARY:

The New Product Development Proto Shop Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, communicating and documenting all activity between the Prototype Shop, Engineering and our external/internal suppliers.

Requirements

Issue PO requests for Prototype Shop parts, services and outside contractors

Order of parts for all Prototype Shop Engineering projects

Obtains quotations from vendors for prototype parts to ensure favorable quality, price and delivery terms

Assist with scheduling contractors for shop maintenance

Responsible for shipping/receiving and the coordination of parts material deliveries

Other administrative duties as required

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience related to the essential functions

Must have demonstrated experience with MRP Systems (Oracle)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Possess strong organizational and time management skills with an eye for detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team

Demonstrated ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high demanding fast paced work environment

Experience with Share Point Proto Shop Work Request is considered an asset
