Gervais Salon & Wellness Spa is a well-established and ever-expanding company. Our team is comprised of passionate professionals who are committed to excellence and creativity in the salon and spa industry as well as delivering an extraordinary guest experience.
We are currently looking for a newly licensed stylist to join our team as a New Talent Stylist and assistant to one of our Senior Stylists. Gain the experience that you did not get from school and start your career prepared to flourish! The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and eager to grow their skills.
Responsibilities:
Assist our senior Hair Stylist in various salon tasks, including preparing workstations, organizing tools, and maintaining cleanliness.
Greet and attend to clients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their salon visit.
Shampoo, condition, and prepare clients’ hair for styling under the direction of the Stylist.
Learn and perform basic styling techniques such as blow-drying, setting, and simple styling tasks.
Support the lead Stylist during appointments, anticipating their needs, and providing seamless assistance.

Our Compensation:
$16/hr
Minimum 32 hrs per week
Job Requirements:
Must be licensed in the State of Oregon for Hair Design
