REPORTS TO: Director of Omnichannel Merchandising

OVERALL DUTIES:

The Inventory Coordinator is part of the In-Season team which supports the corporate stores and e-commerce. This role facilitates the allocation of orders (first and OTB purchases), transfers and product movement across all divisions.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Track delivery of products by collection and store every week.
  • Monitor weekly performance through weekly sell-through reports and business analysis reporting. Filtering, deciphering and summarizing critical information to share with VP of Sales, Regional Store Managers and Sr Director of Merchandising.
  • Create non-productive, best-selling SKU reports, working with stores to identify reasons for slow performance and communicating results with Buying Team to affect future seasons.
  • Field and resolve all store requests and client needs daily, communicating with our Italian office to service requests in the most efficient manner.
  • Analyze sales trends and chase seasonal opportunities in OTB, considering omnichannel inventory and availability to maximize sales.
  • Allocate and distribute seasonal re-orders and manage replenishments of carry-over styles in partnership with Planning and Director of Merchandising, coordinating timing and logistics with Operation Dept.
  • Partner with Director of Merchandising on product movement in season, making sound business decisions that will drive sales volume while keeping the costs of transfers low.
  • Ensure optimal inventory level for Pop Up Retail Stores on in-store events.
  • Gather and report feedback from stores on client profiles, current business needs, and fit issues.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, fashion, operations or a related field
  • Strong background in data analysis and proficiency in Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel
  • Excellent written, oral, presentation, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage workload and time effectively and ability to shift focus/adjust priorities as the business warrants
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with an ability to manage competing priorities
  • Customer-oriented
