Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Packing and Shipping Associate, where you’ll play a vital role in ensuring products are accurately packed, efficiently shipped, and safely handled. Responsibilities
- Prepare orders for shipment by picking items accurately using barcode scanning and RF scanners, ensuring order fulfillment precision
- Pack products securely using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit, adhering to quality control standards
- Manage inventory levels within warehouse management systems (WMS), perform stock replenishment, and update records for accurate inventory management
- Conduct safety protocol adherence by using personal protective equipment (PPE), following manual handling procedures, and operating heavy equipment responsibly
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying shipments against orders, completing inbound/outbound logs, and coordinating with carriers for timely dispatch
- Support warehouse distribution activities by stocking shelves, organizing materials, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred, especially in roles involving order picking, packing, shipping & receiving, or inventory management systems
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment is highly desirable
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology for logistics, RF scanners, and basic math skills for inventory counts is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to follow safety protocols diligently and use PPE correctly in a fast-paced environment
- Warehouse supervisor experience or familiarity with warehouse operations will be considered a plus
- Strong physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and load/unload activities
