We are looking for a Painter and decorator will be responsible for the upkeep of the FORA portfolio predominantlyworking OOH 15:00-23:00Monday – Thursday with Friday flex time available. They will be working to a PPM planner scheduled by the maintenance manager tasked to keep all scheduled works on time and completed to an exceptional standard.

Requirements

Complete painting & decorating tasks as assigned by the painting and decorating supervisor

Liaising with painting supervisor updating them on progress/completion times

Ensuring they have all the correct materials on site before they start any works

preparing work areas making sure all furniture are moved If possible and work areas have correct signage

problem solve when things may not go to plan making sure your speak with the supervisor for confirmation

Ensure each job is finished to a high & consistent standard

Leave all areas clear, tidy and ready for use the next day by FORA members & staff

Communicating with your fellow team members should anything need to be picked up by day teams

You will be working out of hours so will need to committ to those hours

We would love to hear from you if you have :

Experience working in the building/maintenance industry

Thorough knowledge of the skills required to carry out the full range of tasks

3 years + prior experience painting & decorating within commercial buildings

Good practical knowledge of trade areas such as painting, decorating and wall coverings and worked in a small team

NVQ or equivalent in painting and decorating
