South Mississippi Regional Center is a program of the Mississippi Department of Mental Health providing care and support for people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. Each position at South Mississippi Regional Center is an important and impactful role that provides our individuals with the appropriate level of care to meet their social, emotional, physical, and personal needs.
Responsibilities:
Contractor will be responsible for providing basic hair care needs, to include but not limited to, full head haircut and/or bang trim, for the female persons served of the Agency, (approximately 32) provide service once per month per person or as needed but no more than twice per month for each person, some of which are wheelchair or bed bound.
Qualifications:
Typically requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and Possession of a valid certificate of registration as a Cosmetologist by the Mississippi Board of Cosmetology (Must provide copy)

This is a contract position with the State of Mississippi that STARTS 7/1/24 and will end 6/30/25. State contracts can be renewed/reapplied for every year. Contract positions are still open for the balance of this year.
