Responsibilities
With the keen oversight and support of our staff, this role will assist where applicable in design drawings, drafting, and renderings, floorplans, and mock ups.
Assist in the design of creative decks and presentations, including image formatting, mood boards, mockups and reference imagery sourcing.
Learn the intricacies of the fashion world and event world, and where the two overlap and diverge as it relates the the field of design. Learn the difference between the fashion / event fields and how they differ from the architectural and theatrical set design fields and the different needs of each industry.
Build upon basic knowledge of Vectorworks, Sketchup, Rhinocerous 3D, Adobe.
Qualifications
Basic understanding of various programs such as Vectorworks, Sketchup, Rhinocerous, Adobe Suite.
Recently graduated, near the end of their academic studies, or in a program that allows for flexible school hours.
Good knowledge of the Microsoft Suite
Strong interest in visual culture: Art/Artist installation, Movie/Cinema history, Photography, Architecture
Open to discussion, happy to collaborate actively in the creative process
Knowledge of fashion is optional, interest to learn about it is a must.
Is familiar with the Luxury brand industry and has a strong desire to learn more about the industry
Exhibits openness for learning and growth
Is a strong team player
Exhibits good writing skills and good organizational skills
Thoughtfully responds to feedback and direction
Takes personal initiative and demonstrates independent thinking
Position Details
Candidate must be able to work on-site 2-3 days per week for 15-20 hours. This is an entry-level, part time job on a temporary basis for 16-24 weeks. Position starts mid-July and runs through the end of October.
