Responsibilities
Perform a variety of hair cutting and styling techniques, including barbering and straight razor shaving.
Provide makeup application services as requested by clients.
Offer nail care services, ensuring clients receive comprehensive grooming.
Utilize color theory knowledge to provide hair coloring services that meet client preferences.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and tools in accordance with health and safety standards.
Use MINDBODY software for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing transactions.
Engage in upselling products and services to enhance the client experience while driving retail sales.
Apply retail math skills to manage inventory effectively and assist in product selection for clients.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
Proficiency in barbering techniques, including straight razor use.
Experience with makeup application is a plus.
Strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and understand their needs.
Knowledge of color theory for effective hair coloring services.
Familiarity with MINDBODY or similar salon management software is preferred.
Ability to perform basic retail math for inventory management and sales tracking.
