Qualification
Must be licensed in the state of Maryland
Completion of beauty school completion or getting ready for state board
18 years or older and passionate about the beauty industry
Responsibilities
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, silk presses, natural hair coloring, and styling to meet client needs.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment following state board health and safety regulations.
Engage with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable hair treatments or products.
Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance the client experience.
Apply makeup as needed for special occasions or events.
Manage store operations effectively, ensuring all supplies are stocked and organized.
Demonstrate expertise in hair extensions application and care.
Experience
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a salon environment is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Experience in retail sales and upselling techniques is a plus.
Knowledge of hair styling techniques, sanitation practices, and current trends in the beauty industry.
Ability to perform makeup application is desirable but not mandatory.

Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
