As a Barber, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services while ensuring a welcoming and sanitary environment for clients.
Duties
Perform a variety of hair cutting and styling techniques to meet client preferences.
Provide grooming services including shaves, beard trims, and hair coloring.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and offer professional recommendations.
Sanitate tools and workstations to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling and client management.
Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and increase sales.
Assist with retail sales by promoting hair care products and other merchandise.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, makeup application, nail care, and eyelash extensions.
Requirements
Valid barbering license or certification as required by state regulations.
Proven experience in barbering or hairstyling is preferred.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Familiarity with salon software for managing appointments and client records is a plus.
Knowledge of retail math to assist in sales tracking and inventory management.
Ability to perform makeup application, nail care, or eyelash extensions is an advantage but not mandatory.
