As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful hairstyles while ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for clients. Your creativity and expertise in various styling methods will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients’ overall experience.
Responsibilities
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling according to client preferences.
Sanitate tools and workstations to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and offer professional advice on hair care.
Perform makeup application services as requested by clients.
Utilize techniques such as hair threading and eyelash extensions to enhance client offerings.
Demonstrate knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results in hair coloring services.
Engage in upselling products and services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Participate in store management tasks as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a salon environment.
Proficient in using straight razors, scissors, and other hairstyling tools.
Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with clients effectively.
Knowledge of current trends in hair styling, coloring, and treatments.
Certification from an accredited cosmetology school is required.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
A passion for the beauty industry and continuous learning about new techniques and products.
