Duties
Provide a range of hair services including cuts, colors, styling, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
Deliver outstanding customer service by building rapport with clients and ensuring a welcoming salon atmosphere.
Upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience and contribute to overall sales goals.
Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, client records, and inventory management.
Mentor junior stylists and assist in training new team members on best practices and techniques.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon workspace, tools, and equipment.
Stay updated on current trends in hair styling, makeup application, and beauty products to provide informed recommendations.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology license as required by state regulations.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
Experience in retail sales and an understanding of retail math to assist in product recommendations.
Proficiency in using salon software for scheduling and record keeping.
Skills in makeup application and eyelash extensions are a plus.
Previous experience in store management or mentoring is advantageous.
