Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled natural hair loctician and or braider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in loctician techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Loctician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair-styles, and hair braiding services while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all clients.
Duties
Consult with clients to understand their desired styles and provide professional recommendations based on their hair type and preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Stay updated on the latest trends in loc styles, braiding, and extensions, color, and styling techniques to offer clients the best service possible.
Utilize salon square software for appointment scheduling, client management, and record keeping.
Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and follow-up communication.
Skills
Proficient in loctician techniques including braiding, hair styling, and color theory.
Experience with hair extensions is a plus.
Good customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for clients.
Familiarity with salon square software for managing appointments and client records.
Knowledge of cosmetology principles is beneficial but not mandatory.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Patience, energy, must be humble and a good listener for client relationship building.
Readiness to grow self-managed business with-in the business.
