Job Overview
Naturally Shining – At Your Door is seeking a talented and passionate Braider/Stylist to join our dynamic team. We are looking for Braider/Stylist to provide braid services in our client’s homes in the Westland, MI and surrounding areas. You can also provide services in Ann Arbor, Saline, Ypsilanti and surrounding areas.
You do not have to be a licensed cosmetologist. We do require our Braider/Stylist to provide pictures of stylings that they have done. As a Braider/Stylist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional beauty services to our clients while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment. This role requires twists and crochet styles as well. Eighteen months of previous experience is also a minimum required.
Naturally Shining is working on expanding to having a mobile salon as well.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality braid/twist/latch hook hair styling.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of workstations, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations.
Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience.
Assist with front desk operations including scheduling appointments, managing client records, and handling inquiries.
Collaborate with the management team to ensure smooth daily operations and contribute to store management tasks.
Experience
Proven experience as a Braider?Stylist or in a similar role within the beauty industry is preferred.
Strong knowledge of sanitization (there will be specific training).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Familiarity with upselling techniques in a retail or service environment is advantageous.

Pay: $22.50 – $30.00 per hour
