**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an immediate skilled Barber/Stylist to join our team and take on clients for an employee that had retired. Preferably candidate has some clientele to transfer to our busy shop. The ideal candidate should be passionate about the barber and beauty industry and possess expertise in various hair styling techniques and services.
**Responsibilities:**
– Provide exceptional barbering and hair styling services to clients
– Perform haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and other grooming services with precision
– Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences
– Utilize salon software such as clover for scheduling and client management
– Demonstrate proficiency in using straight razors for shaving services
– Mentor junior staff members and provide guidance on advanced techniques
– Manage front desk duties when required
– Utilize retail math skills to recommend and sell hair care products
**Experience:**
– Proven experience as a Barber/Stylist in a salon or barbershop setting
– Familiarity with salon software for appointment scheduling and client management
– Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
