Duties
Perform a variety of hair cutting techniques, including fades, trims, and shaves, tailored to individual client preferences.
Provide hair styling services, ensuring clients leave satisfied with their look.
Utilize hair threading techniques as needed for precise grooming.
Offer consultations on hair care, styling products, and maintenance to clients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment.
Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Engage in retail sales by promoting hair products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive atmosphere within the salon.
Experience
Proven experience in barbering or cosmetology is required; familiarity with hair extensions is a plus.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
Knowledge of retail math for managing product sales and inventory effectively.
Experience in store management or retail sales is advantageous but not mandatory.
A valid barbering license or cosmetology certification is required.
