As a Barber, you will provide high-quality grooming services while also engaging with customers to ensure their satisfaction and encourage repeat visits.
Duties
Provide hair cutting, styling, and grooming services tailored to client preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in accordance with health regulations.
Engage with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services or products.
Upsell additional services such as nail care or makeup application to enhance the client experience.
Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client records using salon software.
Communicate effectively with clients to build rapport and ensure a positive salon experience.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and grooming techniques.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Barber or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
Familiarity with salon software for appointment scheduling and client management.
Knowledge of retail math to assist in product sales and inventory management.
Ability to perform sanitation practices consistently for health and safety compliance.
Experience in upselling services and products is preferred but not mandatory.
A valid barbering license as required by state regulations.
