Candidates must currently reside in the Mt Pleasant/greater Charleston SC area and have a minimum of 1 year retail leadership experience as a key holder, shift supervisor or assistant manager. Candidates without this relevant experience will not be considered.
STYLEXCHANGE is seeking a part-time Store Manager to join our Mount Pleasant team.
STYLEXCHANGE is a contemporary boutique known for its curated selection of apparel, footwear, and accessories, as well as a team of Stylists dedicated to delivering a highly personalized customer experience. We are looking for a motivated and fashion-driven individual who is ready to take on a leadership role within a dynamic retail environment.
As a part time manager you will partner with the Store Manager to oversee daily operations, support team development, and drive overall store performance. This role requires a strong presence on the sales floor, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to lead by example in both styling and selling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support all aspects of store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Provide leadership on the sales floor by driving customer experience, team engagement, and sales results
- Deliver personalized styling services and build lasting client relationships
- Coach and support team members to achieve individual and store performance goals
- Monitor key performance indicators and contribute to meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Maintain visual merchandising standards in alignment with brand expectations
- Address customer concerns with professionalism and discretion
- Assume responsibility for store operations in the absence of the Store Manager
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated interest in fashion, styling, and current trends
- Previous retail experience required; leadership experience strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Professional, dependable, and solution-oriented
- Interest in long-term growth and leadership development within the company
