Join our dynamic team at LUX LAIR, a leading off-price luxury goods e-commerce retailer specializing in designer handbags, clothing, shoes, and accessories from the world’s most prestigious brands such as Gucci, Prada, Fendi, and more. Founded in 2015 by industry veterans with over a decade of experience, LUX LAIR is dedicated to serving fashion-conscious consumers who crave style without compromising quality.

We have an immediate opening for an onsite Returns/Order Processing Manager to verify, authenticate and process merchandise returns, as well as pack, pick and ship out orders. We sell off-price (discount) authentic designer bags, clothing, shoes and accessories on online marketplaces (Amazon, Poshmark, eBay, etc.) and our own website. The great majority of the merchandise is shipped directly by our vendors, however, we process all of our returns onsite and reship out these items to customers as they are sold.

Working flexible shifts, you would be in charge of inspecting and handling returns, as well as timely shipping of orders from in-house stock of previously returned merchandise.

Our warehouse is located in a secure historic office building in downtown Minneapolis near the Mississippi River. Oftentimes you will be the only team members working onsite. There is an active co-working place one floor below where we receive returns and drop off orders.The time requirement is two-to-three hours each shift, M, W, F.On an average shift expect to pack and ship two to four orders and process three to five returns. Returns are usually delivered daily by 2pm and there is a US post office onsite for shipping out orders, which closes at 5pm.This position offers flexibility and opportunities for expanded responsibilities for a self-motivated, self-directed, and independent person.

Previous Returns Managers have performed such tasks as listing new inventory, spreadsheet management, photographing merchandise, and online marketing via social media and live selling on internet channels. You may be asked to assist with other administrative, marketing and warehouse operations as needed.

The ideal candidate will ensure order fulfillment by packing and labeling products for shipment, keep inventory accuracy by conducting stock checks, and assist with general warehouse maintenance and organization to maintain a clean work environment.As we are dealing in high-end designer inventory, we are looking for someone who pays strong attention to detail.When items are returned, you would be responsible for inspecting them to ensure they are returned in the same brand new/unused condition as they went out, issuing refunds, and re-package these items for our warehouse inventory, so they can be resold as new, if eligible.

Prior retail experience preferred.

Occasionally, you may need to drop a package or two off at the US post office or FedEx Office, if it’s after hours or an express shipment that must go out that same day. But, typically, all orders can be dropped off at the post office in the building or left on the adjacent floor for a UPS or FedEx to pick up the next day.
