We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. Duties
- Operate sewing machines and other equipment to construct and alter garments according to design specifications.
- Perform fittings and alterations as requested by customers, ensuring satisfaction with the final product.
- Utilize basic math skills to calculate fabric requirements and measurements for garment construction.
- Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are readily available and in good condition.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
Skills
- Proficient in using sewing machines and various sewing techniques.
- Strong understanding of garment construction principles and practices.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage positively with clients.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and fabric requirements.
- Experience in fashion retail is a plus, enhancing the understanding of current trends and customer preferences.
