What you’ll do:

Team noon has some of the fastest, smartest, and hardest-working people we’ve encountered. With a young, aggressive, and talented team, we’re driving major missions forward.

Address employee inquiries regarding payroll matters promptly and accurately.

Manage and oversee the payroll and audit function for multiple entities, varying in complexity.

Assist in the final review of the payroll register to ensure accuracy before processing.

Scrutinize time sheets, wage calculations, salary adjustments, retroactive pay, and leave of absence data to identify and resolve any payroll discrepancies.

Validate all workflow changes related to compensation, job roles, departments, and pay groups before payroll processing.

Collaborate with People Partners to maintain the integrity of payroll data concerning new hires, terminations, transfers, and rate adjustments.

Execute manual checks, final termination payments, void transactions, and other payroll adjustments as required.

What you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, human resources, or a related field.

Proven experience in payroll administration, preferably in logistics, fulfillment, staffing & manpower, or customer service field.

Strong understanding of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Proficiency in using payroll software and systems, to process payroll accurately and efficiently.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to review and reconcile complex payroll data, including time sheets, wage calculations, and benefit contributions.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and ensure payroll accuracy.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with employees, managers, and external vendors regarding payroll inquiries and issues.

Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, to ensure accurate data input and maintain payroll integrity.

Understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, including knowledge of wage and hour laws, overtime calculations, and payroll reporting requirements.

Adaptability and willingness to learn, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and requirements.
