Personal Shopper Jobs in New York City Metropolitan Area at Into Archive
Title: Personal Shopper
Company: Into Archive
Location: New York City Metropolitan Area
Location: Hybrid-role based in our NYC showroom (Flatiron)
Into Archive is a curated luxury vintage destination, offering rare Chanel, Thierry Mugler, Vivienne Westwood, Miu Miu and more to a global clientele. We’re looking for a full-time Personal Shopper / Client Advisor to build and nurture our highest-value client relationships and place our most special pieces in the right wardrobes and archives.
What you’ll do
- Act as the main point of contact for VIP / HNW clients, primarily via WhatsApp, email, and social.
- Proactively curate selections from intoarchive.com and new arrivals, sending tailored edits based on size, style, collection, and budget.
- Offer styling advice for events, press, red carpets, travel, and everyday wardrobes.
- Maintain a personal client book: track preferences, wishlists, sizing, and purchase history.
- Identify potential new VIP clients (stylists, collectors, celebrities, entrepreneurs) and build relationships.
- Coordinate holds, invoices, payments, and shipping with our internal team.
- Come into our NYC showroom periodically (for merchandise refreshing, try-ons, content days, or key client appointments).
You are
- Deeply passionate and knowledgeable about luxury fashion and vintage—you follow collections, understand references, and know why a 90s Chanel piece is different from a 2010s one.
- Polished, discreet, and comfortable speaking with high-net-worth clients around the world.
- Sales-driven and target-oriented, but never pushy—your strength is trust, taste, and service.
- Highly organized: you can manage multiple chats, clients, and wishlists at once.
- Comfortable working independently and remotely, with excellent written communication in English.
- Previous experience in luxury retail, styling, personal shopping, or clienteling is a strong plus.
What we offer
- Full-time role at a fast-growing, founder-led luxury vintage company.
- Remote-first structure with flexible schedule, plus occasional days in our NYC showroom.
- The opportunity to work hands-on with rare, museum-worthy pieces and help shape how the next generation shops vintage.
- Competitive compensation (base + performance-based incentives) and room to grow as the company scales.
