Opportunity Description
This is a hybrid (in-person and remote) contract opportunity for a Personal Stylist, located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. As a Contracted Personal Stylist at Compozure, you will play a freelance role, helping various clients look and feel their best. You will be responsible for conducting closet audits, curating personalized shopping lists, providing style guidance, and delivering a polished, confidence-building experience tailored to each client's lifestyle and goals.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include (depending on client needs and package):
- Conducting virtual or in-person closet audits and wardrobe assessments
- Developing style mood boards and personal brand direction
- Curating personalized shopping lists with ready-to-purchase links
- Providing personal color analysis and professional image consulting
- Assisting with personal shopping and item acquisition
- Offering virtual styling consultations as needed
- Supporting clients through major wardrobe transitions (new job, life change, seasonal refresh)
- Communicating clearly and professionally with clients throughout the engagement
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Personal Stylist, Fashion Consultant, or relevant role in fashion/image consulting
- Strong aesthetic sensibility and an eye for fit, proportion, and personal style
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to tailor your approach to a wide range of client lifestyles, budgets, and aesthetics
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own client engagements independently
