JOB TITLE : Photo Stylist LOCATION : Chatsworth (subject to travel) SUPERVISOR : Visual Manager and Lead Stylist DESCRIPTION: Shoppe Amber Interiors, a high-end lifestyle brand with multiple brick and mortar locations and a growing ecommerce business, is looking to grow our creative team. We are seeking a highly organized, creative, and experienced Photo Stylist to join our Visual Team and play a crucial role in creating captivating and compelling imagery for our brand. As a Photo Stylist, you will work under the direction of the Visual Manager and Lead Stylist to support in conceptualization, planning, and execution of visually striking Product, Environmental, and Lifestyle shoots that align with our brand’s aesthetic and message. PHOTO STYLIST KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with Merchandising to plan, prepare and execute product styling for product and environmental photoshoots on the Studio Set that is in alignment with business needs, brand standards and highlights product’s key features Prepare products for studio photography workflow prior to, during, and post shoot days while effectively managing the shot list. Provide a recap hand off back to Merchandising and Warehouse teams post shoots Support creative and marketing with planning, preparation, and execution of all seasonal lifestyle & environmental shoots, ensuring expectations are met, maintaining consistency across all visual campaigns Participate and support on studio and location sets with styling, product flow, general organization / cleanliness, and floral, supply, and prop runs as needed Organize and maintain prop + visual inventory library, implement an archiving system at the studio set, manage inventory systemically and physically before, during, and after all shoots Maintain understanding of product features, applications and unique selling points to effectively and innovatively style on set and location Understand Shoppe’s visual identity and aesthetics, maintaining a consistent style and visual language across all product images while also staying up to date with new trends and how competitors showcase their products seasonally Maintain product photography standards guide Source and select appropriate props and accessories as needed Work with the photographer on the studio set to create lighting setups that align with brand aesthetic and highlight its key features effectively Partner with Buying to QC final assets of product photography to ensure color, lighting, and scale is consistent and representative of the item photographed prior to Ecom hand off Collaborate with creative and warehouse teams to set up, prepare and breakdown set appropriately, ensuring general organization and cleanliness of the Studio Set PHOTO STYLIST QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to work collaboratively across cross functional teams Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to change Ability to work in independently and juggle multiple projects at a time Able to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities while remaining calm under pressure Demonstrates a high level of creativity, attention to detail and organization Strong merchant skills with a history of delivering financial results Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of production shoots, including mornings, nights, and weekends PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of experience styling interiors & photoshoots Experience in production or staging is a plus!
