YOUR OPPORTUNITY
As a Planner based in the New York Corporate office, you will play a key role within the organization. Reporting directly to the Director of Business Performance & Planning, you will assist in the execution of planning & analysis for Retail, Outlet, and Wholesale across the Americas.
Planning
The role provides fundamental support in all areas of Planning. The core responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Partner with CEO and business owners to understand overarching network evolution and strategy
Work with HQ Planning and Finance to ensure planning deadlines are met and seasonal strategies executed
Partner with HQ Planning on local door by door budgets/forecasts, and be capable of speaking to changes within the forecasts to budget and prior year
Meet with Area Managers to confirm market assumptions
Confirm strategy defined by HQ for sales penetrations of Ready to Wear and Made to Measure
Determine Daily Sales Penetrations across our local Retail Network
Update weekly and ad hoc reporting and in-season reforecasting
Monitor selling results and develop localized strategies to capitalize on opporunities and mitigate risk
Business Development:
Ensure decision making process alignment with Finance, Retail and Wholesale
Develop and maintain cross-divisional relationships
Communicate opportunities where management support is needed on initiatives and strategies
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 3-5 years of planning, strategy, or business analytics, preferably in the Retail industry.
Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint
Expert command of retail math concepts, applications, and statistical analysis
Demonstrated problem solving skills, adaptability/flexibility, and initiative
Excellent communication, teamwork, analytical and strategic thinking skills
Experience navigating multiple systems and large sets of data

COMPENSATION
The pay range for this position is $110,000-$115,000 annually, dependent on candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
