Job description:
We are seeking aPress Coordinatorto join our London Marketing Office team. This is afull-time permanent positionwith a hybrid work model ofthree days in the office and two days from home. This role reports directly to theBrand Communications Manager, with oversight from theMarketing Director.
AsPress Coordinator, you will support Miista’spress and communications efforts, helping to amplify our brand presence acrossfashion, lifestyle, and business media. You will be responsible for assisting in daily press relations, coordinating sample management, supporting events production, and liaising with external agencies and partners. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience infashion PRwithin an independent and fast-growing brand.
Main Responsibilities:
Support day-to-day press activities, including media outreach, press coverage monitoring, and reporting.
Assist in the development ofpress materialssuch as releases, media alerts, and brand stories, ensuring they align with Miista’s tone of voice.
Coordinate sample trafficking, working closely with stylists, editors, and influencers to maximize brand visibility in key publications.
Maintain and updatepress contact lists and media databases, ensuring a well-organized PR network.
Assist in theorganization and execution of press events, brand activations, and seasonal press days.
Liaise withexternal PR agencies and freelance consultantsto ensure global press strategies are executed effectively.
Monitor and analyzepress coverage, audience engagement, and PR campaign performance, providing regular updates to the team.
SupportVIP and stylist relationships, ensuring Miista is well-represented in key fashion moments.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
1-3 years of experiencein fashion PR, communications, or a related field (agency or in-house experience preferred).
A strongunderstanding of fashion and lifestyle media, with some existing industry connections being a plus.
Excellentwriting and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling brand stories.
Highlyorganized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Passionate aboutstorytelling, branding, and digital media, with an interest in independent fashion.
Proficiency inMicrosoft Office(especially Excel) andsocial media platforms.
Proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn, with a strong sense of initiative.
Familiarity with Miista’sbrand identity and valuesbefore the interview is a must.
Based in London, with the ability to attend in-person press events and activations. Occasional UK and EU travel may be required.
Working knowledge and experience, preferably with an existing network within the fashion/music/culture/art community, including stylists, celebrities, influencers, and fashion editors.
Passion for storytelling and brand development, with a focus on slow fashion and short supply chains.
Flexible and resourceful, able to take on a variety of tasks and responsibilities in a small, dynamic team environment.
