As part of our continued growth in France, we are looking for a Private Client Manager to join our French team.

About the role

This is a client-facing role that combines private client management, consultative sales and local commercial operations.

You will be responsible for supporting private clients throughout their journey with Auctentic — understanding their needs, collecting the relevant information, coordinating next steps, and ensuring a professional, discreet and high-quality client experience.

The role requires someone who is commercially minded, highly organized, service-oriented, and comfortable building trust with clients who are selling valuable and often personal items.

What you’ll do

  • Manage private client inquiries across France.
  • Understand each client’s needs, expectations and readiness to move forward.
  • Collect relevant information, including photos, certificates, documents, measurements, box and warranty details.
  • Explain Auctentic’s process clearly and professionally, including expert review, valuation, buyer interest, appointments, secure shipment and payment.
  • Build trusted relationships with private clients and guide them through the process with discretion and care.
  • Coordinate client appointments, secure shipments and all required pre-meeting information.
  • Follow up with clients in a thoughtful, structured and professional way.
  • Manage client expectations regarding timing, process and potential value.
  • Maintain accurate client records, notes and next steps in HubSpot.
  • Work closely with the Country Manager, valuation experts, logistics team and international HQ.
  • Support local commercial and operational processes as the French activity grows.
  • Contribute to improving client flows, communication templates and internal processes.

What we’re looking for

  • Native-level French and strong English.
  • 3–5 years of experience in client-facing roles, private client services, client advisory, luxury retail, consultative sales, client success or commercial operations.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to guide clients toward the next step.
  • High level of discretion, professionalism and integrity.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage several priorities and client processes at the same time.
  • Proactive, hands-on and comfortable taking ownership.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving international environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience in luxury goods, jewelry, diamonds, gemstones or watches.
  • Gemology knowledge or certification.
  • Experience working with private clients or high-net-worth individuals.
  • Experience with HubSpot or another CRM.
  • Knowledge of logistics, secure shipments or appointment coordination.
  • Background in luxury retail, auction houses, private banking, wealth management, insurance, real estate or premium services.
