We are seeking a highly organized and collaborative Product & Merchandising Assistant to support both the product development and merchandising teams in bringing apparel products from concept to market. This dual-role position provides critical support across the product lifecycle—helping manage samples, data, timelines, and vendor communication—while also contributing to merchandising functions like sales reporting, style setup, and milestone tracking.

Product Development Support

· Manage and update the Work in Process (WIP) report for all stages of product development, including but not limited to cost, samples, strike-offs, lab dips, testing, samples, and purchase orders.

· Coordinate the creation, receipt, and review of vendor samples, ensuring they meet design specifications and quality standards.

· Assist fabric associate on material development (lab dips, strike-offs, prototypes)

· Assist product developers with PLM with information including but not limited to shipping descriptions, fabric content, final specifications, spec sheet, costing, and vendor information.

· Maintain vendor folders, packing lists, invoices, and sample documentation

· Assist with creating all labels for each product and generating barcodes.

Merchandising & Business Support

· Help prepare and maintain product line plans and merchandising decks

· Assist in updating seasonal line architecture and assortment tools

· Support sales analysis and reporting by pulling data and formatting recaps for internal use

· Support milestone tracking and calendar management for merchandising and product development

· Conduct ongoing competitor landscape analysis by tracking category-level trends across competitor websites—style counts, colors, pricing, and features—to inform strategy and positioning

· Monitor in-season style performance and highlight top and bottom sellers to inform future product and marketing decisions.

The candidate will have strong communication and time management skills. Is detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through abilities. Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Applications (Word, Teams, Outlook). PLM software experience is a plus.
