Role Description

Reporting directly to the VP, Retail, based in London, the Product Assistant will be responsible for managing product samples, coordinating shipments, and administering tasks for our retail stores.

Role Responsibilities

Manage product samples, including monitoring, distributing, and capturing images for documentation, and saving them on the server.

Administer tasks for global retail stores, such as updating product catalogues, managing online approval portals, and communicating with retail managers regarding deliveries.

Take ownership of FedEx shipments and track invoices.

Support liaising production from suppliers to exhibitions worldwide, with the potential to take full ownership.

Assist Product Developers in monitoring and reordering stock.

Chase and track all samples via spreadsheet, maintaining regular communication with suppliers, and promptly informing relevant team members of late deliveries.

Conduct regular competitor and market research to keep the team updated.

Aid in creating mood boards and product catalogues for new and updated exhibitions.

Ensure contractual samples are sent to studios after production.

Build and maintain strong relationships with all suppliers.

Required Education and Experience:

Possess a minimum of 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar role, demonstrating a basic understanding of the product life-cycle and shipping/logistics.

Exhibit excellent organization and communication skills, with the ability to write clear emails.

Demonstrate proficiency in multitasking across multiple projects and collaborating with various divisions within Neon.

Display good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel (knowledge of Photoshop is advantageous but not mandatory).

Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.

Show self-motivation, with a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills.

Demonstrate equal comfort working as part of a team and independently.
