Product Developer

We are Careismatic Brands Inc., the global leader in medical apparel, footwear, and accessories. We have an outstanding opportunity for a Product Developer to be responsible forinitial concept through final fit development and PP release to source base, system engagement, team engagement for Cherokee, Dickie’s and Private Label brands.
This is a full-time role based in our corporate offices in Los Angeles, CA.
Salary Range: $65,000.00-$80,000.00

One day in Santa Monica and 3-4 days in Chatsworth
Prep and ship presentation packages as needed.
Carry samples to and from SM to CW offices.
Organize trim/fabric/samples libraries.
What Your Day Looks Like
Product PLM set up from beginning to final stages.
Collaborate with Design teams in all aspects of product development.
Collaborate with pre-pod and request seasonal concept proto’s development.
Manage and execute deliverables and milestones against seasonal GTM calendar, and PLM
Manage Existing fabric and New Fabrics lab dips, Sample yardage approvals.
Manage Branding and Trim lab dip approvals.
Request initial costing from production team and enter in PLM system.
Implement and enter new and carryover styles in PLM and maintain through PP release.
Prepare presentation samples for License, Customers and Accounts as needed.
Collaborate with Design and Review Line plans, PLM BOMs and presentation line sheets for accuracy.
Manages brand sample library.
Collaborate with design team to understand seasonal newness and carryover updates for PLM system data entry.
Support and Participate in design handoff meetings for seasonal newness.
Collaborate with patternmaking to track status of development and assists in fittings.
Communicate with sourcing/production on all trim quality and color approvals.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in the apparel industry.
Highly organized, with expert knowledge of fabric, trim, and garment construction.
Detail proficiency, and team-oriented person.
Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Adobe Illustrator.
Experience with PLM systems, PowerPoint, Photoshop, and InDesign is a plus.
BA or BS college related degree.
Strong and professional soft-skills.
