Job Overview
PAW is looking for a strong and experienced leader to build our product development division. We need a “hands-on” Product Developer to be the primary liaison between the customer and the production team.

Duties
Communicate with customers to determine design and production needs
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source appropriate fabrics and trims, considering cost, quality, and lead times.
Develop and maintain tech-packs to guide sample development and production.
Oversee sample development, conduct fittings, and ensure that products meet established quality standards and specifications.
Communicate design aesthetics and fit sample status with all departments
Uphold quality & testing standards of materials and finished garment
Sustain development and production calendar to ensure customer deadlines are met
Effectively maintain strong partnerships and communication with internal departments and customers during all stages of product development
Minimum requirements
Degree in Fashion Design or related field with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Apparel Product Development / Production OR 7 years of equivalent experience in the Garment Manufacturing Industry.
Ability to operate independently while establishing effective partnerships with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop, Access
Experience with knits, woven, fittings, fabric properties, apparel construction and production processes.
Efficiency driven with effective interpersonal, writing, communication, and presentation skills.
Capable of handling multiple assignments with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
