We are seeking a Product Development Assistant to join the growing team supporting our intimates business. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role supporting the Product Development and Design teams throughout the full development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a genuine interest in apparel Product Development, especially in color review and evaluation.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate daily with overseas vendors and cross-functional teams (Design, Technical Design, Sourcing, and Production)
- Review and track development submissions
- Assist in color review processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with design intent with Colorist
- Own and maintain accurate data entry within the Airtable management system
- Track samples from Proto through PPS/TOP stages, including daily vendor follow-ups
- Maintain and update WIP for weekly cross-functional meetings
- Ensure tech packs are up to date and shared with vendors throughout development
- Submit PD, TD, and PPS comments to vendors in a timely and clear manner
- Track Time & Action calendars to support on-time delivery
- Open, organize, and distribute incoming packages from overseas vendors
- Prepare outgoing shipments and support general administrative tasks
- Support additional projects as needed
Qualifications:
- 1 year of relevant work and/or internship experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience maintaining and organizing data
- Strong interest in Product Development
- Keen written, verbal and electronic communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- PLM experience is a plus (Centric preferred)
- Team-oriented with a strong desire to learn and grow
Annual salary range starting at $55,000+
