Product Development Assistant (One year Apparel-fashion experience required) Jobs in Torrance, CA at TCW Trends, Inc.
We are looking for an Assistant to support the Product Development (PD) team!
Responsibilities:
Candidate would work directly with the Product Development team to assist on all related projects and tasks such as:
Supporting the team in the execution of the entire apparel manufacturing lifecycle
Preparing and tracking all submits: samples, lab dips, strike offs, swatches, headers, etc.
Compiling tech packs, cost breakdowns, fabric standards and counter fabrics received from overseas
Handling the receiving of packages/samples/references/etc
Prepping samples (tag, check for accuracy, call out notes) and maintaining sample archives
Updating and maintaining line sheets as revisions occur including fabrics, colors, etc
Creating swatch cards
Photographing samples and maintaining records
Assisting with the assortment plan maintenance to include attributes, revisions, drops, and adds
Receiving packages and distributing them
Qualifications/Skills:
1+ years of experience in product development or production is preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
