JOB PURPOSE
The Product Development Assistant to support the delivery of end-to-end product development across a defined category. This role plays a key part in ensuring information, samples, and processes are managed with precision, enabling the creation of products that reflect Burberry’s standards of quality and craftsmanship. Working closely with Product Developers and cross-functional partners, you will help bring collections to life with clarity and efficiency. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and update PLM systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all product data.
- Collaborate with Product Developers and external partners to support timely delivery of samples and shipments.
- Manage collection documentation, ensuring all records are current, organised and accessible.
- Track development budgets and report on cost performance across products and categories.
- Coordinate the organisation, filing and archiving of samples and swatches.
- Provide day-to-day support to the Product Development team, including maintaining boards and assisting with product information.
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Experience supporting product development processes within a fashion or luxury environment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle data accurately at pace.
- Clear communicator, able to share information concisely with different stakeholders.
- Commercial awareness with an understanding of cost tracking and budgeting principles.
- Organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in PLM systems and Microsoft Excel, with a curiosity for learning new tools.
