Product Development Associate
We are looking for aProduct Development Associateto join our product development team and our Design team.
Responsibilities:
Clear communication daily with our overseas factories about the development and status of the styles, using the PLM system.
Sending out detailed tech packs (CBDs) to factory for given accounts.
Checking all PPS samples upon arrival to ensure all direction was followed, reviewing with design and sales, then relaying clear comments/approvals to factory.
Creating and updating development charts staying aligned with time and action calendar.
Work closely with internal teams including design and production to ensure smooth product flow.
Sourcing new styles and ideas with factory when given from design.
Qualifications:
1-3 years in product development, experience in socks & hosiery a plus.
Proficient in Illustrator.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Experience with PLM a plus.
Sharp eye for color and pattern to be able to recognize mistakes from factory compared to CBDs.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills to get samples corrected when issues arise.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment with a self-starter attitude.
Demonstrate strong skills in: Organization, Attention to Detail, Project Management and Time Management.

NY Pay Transparency:
The pay range for this position is ($50,000 – $55,000) annually based on skills and experience.
