We are looking for a freelance Product Development Coordinator for a top fashion company in New York, NY!
Responsibilities:
Individual contributor responsible for coordinating the development of prototype products.
Monitors overall development process for product line.
Acts as point person on development details with vendor partners.
Creates and updates seasonal composite sheets and classification charts.
Coordinates work flow of weekly updates to ensure composites are used as a timely communication tool with vendors, production, technical and merchandising. -Tracks development to assure execution is within timeframes.
Communicates design development details.
Drive product life cycle for intimates space with 2 others, reporting into a director.
Typically reports to Product Development Manager.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent experience.
3-5 years product design/development experience.
Organized
Product background
Costing analysis skills, management skills, category ownership a plus
