Job Description
***Only qualified Product Development Coordinator candidates located near the Manhattan, NY area to be considered due to the position requiring a Hybrid presence***
Skills & Abilities:
– Must have experience with Product Development and/or raw materials.
– Prior product development and/or fabric knowledge required.
– Must be detail oriented, organized, positive attitude, outgoing, with good communication skills.
– Must have Excel experience
Desired Skills:
– Centric PLM experience
Responsibilities:
Individual contributor position responsible for managing the sampling process end to end – from prepositioning sample yardage to delivering accurate and timely product samples for key milestone meetings.
– This person will be responsible for tracking and reporting sample yardage and garment sample readiness, working with cross-functional partners i.e. Design, Product Development, Raw Materials to problem-solve and/or propose solves to improve ready dates.
– This role requires constant follow-up and communication with vendors and suppliers, gathering information to bring back to internal partners.
– This person must be familiar with PLM – experience with Centric PLM is a plus.
– Product Development and/or raw material experience.
– Applicants should be detail-oriented, independent and comfortable working and communicating with associates of all levels.
