Product Development Coordinator Jobs in Los Angeles at TS Apparel
DTLA Apparel Company is looking for someone assist production manager plus various key responsibilities for the Sampling Departments.
You will assist in handling development and sampling duties, from conception to final samples. Must have excellent communication skills, with both clients and factories. Must be able to interpret basic sketches and know and understand construction and fabrications. Develop and manage all samples from initial sketch to proto to pre-production to production and sampling. Manage communications between factories and customers ensuring the product follows any and all changes/updates.
Must know Excel. Very fast paced. Able to juggle multiple projects. On average, this position will manage 30-50 samples monthly. Ability to comprehend and understand where each stage of each sample is.
Must be able to interpret and execute samples based on a sketch.
Must know and understand tech packs, fit and fabrications– mostly knits but some wovens. Men’s and Women’s.
Must have a good "eye" to catch any colors, spelling, fit issues.
Very fast paced environment with the ability to multi-task between projects.
Prior Experience with apparel printing a plus.
Pre Production/Production experience a plus
Tech design experience a plus
Able to understand spec/grading.
Prefer at least 10 years experience in the garment industry, either in product development, pre production, technical design. This is not entry level.

Pay: $24.00 – $29.00 per hour
