Position Summary:Directly supports Design and Production teams as well as cross functional partners with day to day operations for all divisions to ensure the garment development process is efficient and well executed for all styles. Responsible for entering, maintaining and finalizing all accurate information into RLM system at the style level.
Daily functions:
Email correspondence with all factories for developments in work (from point of launch through receipt of sample) ensuring deadlines are being met, and factories have all materials and information needed to complete samples accurately.
Save all information provided by the factories in share drive at Proto and SMS stage to create cost charts for company review.
Track and receive overseas packages. Alert design and development team to the status of when packages are expected to deliver for fitting schedule purposes.
Weekly functions:
Launch, follow-up and requesting costs of design trials/samples for any new factory/technique R&D (includes trim, yarn, embellishment, etc).
Update and track budget spending in proto and sampling areas.
Code and pass all invoices for processing.
Review Development WIPs and RLM database to ensure all details are up to date.
Manage the seasonal testing (fabric and samples) chart. Liaison testing between overseas factories and SGS testing facility.
Update and maintain seasonal fusible testing chart. Partner with our fusible vendors to select products that uphold our standard.
Request sketch updates from design through SMS approval/hand off .
Managing all overseas launches, collaborate with TD and design.
Tracking samples and checking in samples upon receipt
Unpacking/ steaming samples *with help from cross functional product teams (design, materials, production, PD, Merch) during crunch time prep for product reviews and market.
Organizing racks according to line sheets for product reviews
Manage sample pass-off with Production ensuring that they are checked in prior to pass-off. Separating LA and Canada samples so they are ready for the sales team.
System functions:
Create PO/cutting ticket for all proto and SMS sampling stages through hand off to Production.
Create/update/manage BOMs and the integrity of their information, as well as BOM’s for any additional exclusives and capsule projects through to finalization (pass off to production)
Partner with the Fabric and Design teams to ensure all information is accurate and documented properly
Review RLM seasonally for accuracy to ensure style #’s and sketches are accurate. Work with designers if any changes or updates need to be made to a sketch. Make updates to style numbers if anything is inaccurate.
Partner with Production to update RLM adding adding any new styles and discontinuing dropped styles pre-market.
Salary $125,000-$150,000 + 10% Bonus
