Our client, a wholesale apparel manufacturer, is seeking a Product Development Manager to join their team in NYC!
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Coordinate activities throughout the development lifecycle.
- Monitor timelines, calendars, and key deliverables.
- Serve as the link between internal teams and external partners.
- Track development status, samples, materials, and approvals.
- Support vendor and factory coordination.
- Participate in product reviews and fittings providing support.
- Assist in resolving development-related issues.
- Maintain product information, development documentation, and related records.
- Communicate development updates, specifications, and project requirements.
- Contribute to process improvements and support the successful execution of seasonal or ongoing initiatives.
- Provide additional support on special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience.
- Experience working with products from concept through production.
- Knowledge of product development processes, materials, sourcing, and manufacturing workflows.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Full Time On Site.
Salary: $105k-$125k
