Our client, an intimates and activewear brand, is seeking a Product Development Manager to join their team in Secaucus, NJ!
Responsibilities:
Support designers in sourcing, costing, and development functions
Daily email communication with factories
Provide shipping documents, Top of Production approvals, and vendor shipping confirmation
Work closely with the Production team
Ensure on-time delivery of production samples
Maintain all development calendars
Send out all development sample requests and manage T&A on samples
Manage and track samples from vendors
Establish color palettes seasonally, conduct lab dips, and strike off commenting and libraries
Create BOMs and work with design on approvals
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field preferred
6+ years of apparel product development experience
Understanding of garment construction and technical knowledge of production
Basic understanding of the product lifestyle
Exceptional organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS Suite, especially Excel
Salary: $100,000-$125,000
