We’re working with a global apparel group that partners with major retailers to design, develop, and deliver high-volume, trend-led product across women’s apparel.

This is a critical, high-impact role sitting at the intersection of sales, product, and sourcing with direct ownership of one of the largest retail accounts in the U.S.

This is not just a pure account management role.

It’s a hybrid commercial + product position for someone who understands how to drive revenue and build product from concept to shelf specifically within the Walmart ecosystem.

You will take full ownership of the Walmart ladies apparel business, managing buyer relationships while leading end-to-end product development, costing, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the Walmart ladies apparel account, acting as the primary point of contact for buyers and merchant teams
  • Drive revenue growth through strong buyer relationships, strategic planning, and category expansion
  • Lead seasonal line reviews, item setup, costing, and negotiation processes
  • Take ownership of the full product lifecycle — from concept through to bulk production
  • Translate buyer feedback, trend direction, and market data into commercially viable assortments
  • Partner with design to build product aligned to Walmart’s customer, price architecture, and volume expectations
  • Work closely with sourcing and overseas vendors to hit target costs and margin requirements
  • Manage cost breakdowns across fabric, trim, construction, and MOQ to optimise profitability
  • Oversee production timelines and proactively resolve issues across quality, capacity, and delivery
  • Act as the central link between sales, design, sourcing, technical, and logistics teams
  • Ensure alignment across seasonal calendars, approvals, and delivery milestones
  • Maintain visibility across forecasts, sales performance, and margin delivery

Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years’ experience across account management and/or product development within apparel
  • Direct experience working with Walmart is essential
  • Strong understanding of product development, costing, and production workflows
  • Proven ability to manage buyer relationships while driving commercial outcomes
  • Confident operating across both product and sales functions — not siloed
  • Experience working with overseas factories and import sourcing
  • Strong working knowledge of Walmart systems (Retail Link, item setup, etc.)
  • Background in women’s apparel categories such as knits, wovens, dresses, or activewear
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple seasons simultaneously
  • Commercially sharp, solutions-focused, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear communicator with strong negotiation skills and cross-functional influence
