We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Product Development Manager. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Product Development Manager

  • Own and manage the product development lifecycle from concept through production
  • Create, maintain and manage Time & Action (T&A) calendars to ensure all milestones and deadlines are met
  • Support multiple product categories across Mainline and Club (Costco) businesses
  • Create and manage sample and fabric tracking charts
  • Source new fabrics and trims to support seasonal development
  • Maintain fabric, trim and product approval libraries
  • Communicate daily with overseas vendors, mills, factories and sample rooms
  • Create and maintain line lists
  • Request, track and manage samples from vendors as needed
  • Review and provide approval comments on lab dips, strike-offs, fabrics and trims
  • Resolve development and bulk production issues while proactively identifying solutions
  • Lead cross-functional meetings and drive follow-up on outstanding action items
  • Partner closely with Design, Fabric R&D, Production and Sales teams throughout the development process
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to changing business needs and shifting priorities
  • Monitor market trends and incorporate relevant insights into product development initiatives
  • Attend all relevant departments, brand and cross-functional meetings
  • Manage and mentor one Product Development Associate

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of product development experience within apparel
  • Strong understanding of the product lifecycle from concept through production
  • Experience supporting multiple product categories simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of Time & Action (T&A) processes and calendar management
  • Experience working with overseas vendors, mills and factories
  • Knowledge of denim, knit and woven categories required
  • Experience supporting Mainline and Club (Costco) businesses is a plus
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, PLM and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and work independently

Salary Range: Up to $120K *Actual base salary for this role within the above range will be based upon experience, qualifications and/or assigned unit.
