Job DescriptionIf you are a Product Manager who truly believes in putting the customer first, is passionate about speaking to customers and working with engineering teams, and can research and communicate new opportunities that our industry offers, we’d love to hear from you.

What you will be doing:

Collaborating with a number of business areas to help deliver the business strategy for expanding ASOS Media Group (AMG), which delivers offsite and onsite advertising solutions for our brand partners.

Always thinking about the potential customer impact of any proposed change to ensure that the ASOS customer is always front of mind and the customer experience is not degraded

Working closely with engineering teams to shape the scope of work and refine tickets for delivery

Continuously learn early and often from customers about their desired outcomes, using experimentation to gather early insights where possible

Work in a data informed way, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative research to assess the value of features and analyse performance against pre-defined metrics

Drive a ‘test and learn’ approach to developing products and features, delivering customer value incrementally whilst testing risky assumptions to understand what not to design and build

Regularly updating stakeholders and teams about the performance of your product area – against key metrics or hypotheses – and use this as a backdrop to any product recommendations or decisions

Collaborating continuously with relevant engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle, from the product strategy to the detail of a user story to implement.

Engaging with other product managers and designers at ASOS to achieve results but also to learn from each other and share knowledge.

Qualifications

What you will need:

Previous experience in media publishing is highly desirable, but not essential

A knack for facilitating product portfolio and roadmap planning, but also translating these into the required level of detail for people to implement.

The ability to drive both delivery and discovery processes

Excellent stakeholder management skills that enable you to build strong, honest and open relationships with key colleagues.

A curious mind that enables you to self-learn about new customer problem areas or opportunities.

A strong belief in the role and value of data, and are not afraid to test and learn, using these feedback loops to continuously improve the product.

Experience with Agile ways of working and collaborating with cross-functional development teams.
