The Production Assistant will support our Senior Production Coordinator in ensuring product shipments and sample deliveries arrive accurately and on time to help realize that vision. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the day-to-day of the sampling & production process.
The role is ideal for someone who is a strong team player and who enjoys the operational side of fashion. The ideal candidate will be confident managing timelines in a fast-paced environment, be highly organized and have exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support seasonal collection development from concept through to bulk production.
- Create and handover barcodes to suppliers.
- Review and approve packaging requirements.
- Ensure timely receipt and approval of bulk fabrics.
- Maintain & manage fabric, trim and samples libraries for the Product Team.
- Receive and check Sales Kits.
- Assist with purchase orders, monitor manufacturing process and ensure on time delivery.
- Liaise with factories and suppliers to resolve production issues.
- Assist with fittings, samples management and QC processes.
About You:
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in fashion production or production co-ordination.
- Basic understanding of Production Timelines.
- Effective Communication skills – both written & verbal.
- Strong Excel and spreadsheet management accuracy.
- High attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Excellent organization and time management.
- Ability to follow instructions with a proactive mindset.
- Comfortable working across multiple teams and priorities.
- Previous experience in PLM systems advantageous, but not a must.
